Task Description: Kia Ora everyone!!! It’s been a while since I posted a blog post. Sorry school was VERY busy. For today’s task Room 5’s literacy had to create a story by using A.I/Gemini. We had to give a prompt for Gemini in order to receive a book. We had to write about something we wanted to share from our culture. Fun fact about me I am also part Bangladesh!!! Since people mainly see me from the Rakhine/Myanmar side I decided I should also express my feelings for that too!!! My prompt was “can you generate me a story about Bangladesh’s history and how it was created, and about it’s beauty. Can you pitch this at a 12 or 13 years old level. Make the story 15 pages” Although I was rushing AT LEAST it give me what I REALLY wanted. Task Description: Kia Ora Everyone!! Welcome back to my blog and this is my first Inquiry/DLO blog post!!!! Anyways for Pt England School focus is Joy and the Maori version is Koa Koa Mai Koa Koa atu!! Team 5 main focus for Inquiry is about how to take care of your Te Whare Tapu Wha!! We had to record ourselves either at home or at school on Google Vids or Imovie. I used Google Vids because it’s way way easier than Imovie and plus I don’t always have to go on the Flat Screens at school. I couldn’t really add some of the graphics or texts because I don’t really know how to use it’s not really the same as Imovie because I mostly use Imovie and we have an event the coming up so the practise takes most of our inquiry time:(

Reflection Time!!

I really enjoy using Google Vids. My higlight was recording myself and talking about how I usually look after my wellbeings. Something I could really work on is learning how to use Google Vids so I can be like a pro but right now I am a beginner!!

Inquiry:How to juggle like a master!!!

Task Description:Today I finished off my Inquiry movie. The theme for Term 3 is Karawhuia. Team 5’s main goal is trying to develop a new skill and try to achieve that goal. There were a few options! like, juggle, learning new poi skills, double dutch(jumping with 2 skipping ropes)stiff spinning, backfilps handstand and many more. The skill that I have chosen was juggling. I worked with 2 of my good friends Nu Nu and Zohaidah.  My highlight was trying to achieve this skill and my lowlight was trying to film everyday because we have our inquiry in our last block so it’s kind of hard to film because we have less time but I convinced my dad to let me go to the shops and buy me some juggling balls so I could film at home. Anyways I hope you enjoy

Reading:Easter Holiday!

Task Description: Today I finished my Easter Holiday. I was supposed to finish this task last week but my literacy teacher forgot about this task but then I she remember about it.  I finish my poster and I put it on the last slide and I also wrote an argument about why here New Zealand should have more public holidays and why here in New Zealand only have 2 public holidays which was Good Friday and Easter Sunday.
