Karawhiua! Give it heaps!
Hello Everyone!! Today all of the Pt England students are coming back to school for Term 3!!! Our theme for this term is Karawhiua, Give it heaps.
Immersion Assembly
We started off by our immersion assembly but different. All of the class had to watch it online!! Each team had to create a movie for the Immersion Assembly. Team 5’s movie was about Mr Wiseman trying to set a goal. His goal was trying to jiggle. It took him 12 days to try and jiggle. He learned that it’s not as easy as it looks but eventually he will get there. He said that he was trying to be the Sigma Rizzler.
Holidays
During the holidays me and my family went to Sylvia Park. We went around H&M to buy some clothes and high knee socks. I bought a black high knee socks for school. My highlight from the shopping spree was eating my favourite place Biang Biang Noodles which is a Chinese place. They make the longest noodles in the world. Me and my little sister shared a bowl of beef noodles because the bowl was huge, which was crazy good. My lowlight was when we got home I felt very tired because we were walking so much that I almost went straight to sleep.
Goals
My learning goal for the term is to try and improve my reading and try to look back into the text and try to scan for the keywords. My other goal is trying to pray off hard without repeating after my mum and to read the trepetalk(Buddhist Books)
Inquiry-Drama Play
Inquiry Question:How can I use the Elements of Drama(EOD) to express myself?
(づ｡◕‿‿◕｡)づTask Description:Hello Everyone! This is my inquiry group which includes me, Samson,Willam,Maria and Tevita.For the plays we had to choose 2 options of our plays so one of them were Car Games and the other one was called Hunting roads. So me and my group had a decisions that we wanted to go with the Car Games. In the play it’s about a family road trip and spending time with each other. But the parents keep arguing about what directions they go.They tried following the GPS but the GPS took they to the wrong place.
My highlight about the play is that everyone was here and trying to memories their lines My lowlight was that no one brought their props that I told everyone to bring their props but I was the only one that brought thing.So I’m hoping that my group can have a memory to remember what bring on the play and not to bring.
